　　通过理解课文，回答问题“What should Tom do？”将could-should结合对比语音学习。

　　T： Ms Smart said to Tom， you should tidy your toys.（板书句型。）

　　2. Presentation of the test and teaching of new word “shelves” 听课本配套光盘回答问题“What shouldn‘t Tom do？”，引出新词并教授，穿插简笔画以及单词shelf-shelves，leaf-leaves， knife-knives对比，感知名词单复数变化的特点。

　　3. Presentation of the new sentences：

　　“You shouldn’t play with the CDs. You shouldn‘t take the books off the shelves.”
