B. Read and fill in the chart.
1. 学生观察B项图片,回答问题:Who are they? What are they doing?
2. 学生初次阅读对话,感知对话大意,并回答问题:What are they talking about?
3. 学生再次阅读对话,并圈出每个人各自喜欢的电视节目。
4. 教师引导学生观察表格,明确填写要求,学生独立完成表格填写。
5. 教师以问答方式核对答案,可进行如下提问:What TV shows does Andy like?或What are Andy‘s favourite TV shows? 从而进一步复习第五单元的词汇和功能句。
Tip:若时间充裕,当学生回答完What TV shows does Andy like?或What are Andy’s favourite TV shows?后,教师还可以进一步提问:Why does Andy like talk shows? 以此类推,接下来可以对每个人物都进行类似的提问,充分挖掘文章中的信息,提升学生阅读理解及口语表达的能力。

教师借助刚刚完成的B项活动,导入调查活动环节,可进行如下对话:Just now, Bill, Andy, Yaoyao, Binbin and Lily talked about TV shows. Now let‘s talk about them, too.
