  Mrs Tiger is an old woman. She has curly grey hair, and she is not friendly or kind. She comes here to teach them.

  图5、6: When the students cannot answer the questions and when the students are not quiet, what does she do? What about the kids‘ feelings?

  Mrs Tiger shouts. The students feel very sad. They say, “We want Miss Kitty back! We will be good. We will always listen!”

  图7: Guess what the end of the story is. What do the students say?

  Miss Kitty comes back! The students are very excited and say “Miss Kitty, we will be good now! We will study hard! Please don’t let Mrs Tiger come back!”

  Tip:教师按照书中故事内容逐图讲故事,边讲边指图中的内容,并做动作帮助学生理解故事内容。

  (5) 学生跟录音读故事。

  Tips:

  1. 在此环节中,培养学生模仿录音中的语音、语调、语气、连读、失去爆破等。

  2. 教师提醒学生可以用记号笔按意群在文章中做标记。例如:comes into和not friendly or kind等等。
