　　五、黑色

　　黑色在英汉两种语言文化中的联系意义大致相同。例如，黑色是悲哀的颜色，英美人在葬礼上穿黑色服装，中国人在葬礼上戴黑纱。英语中的“Black Friday” 指耶稣在复活节前受难的星期五，是悲哀的日子，所以英语中的“black”就有“不幸、灾难、厌恶、愤怒、忧郁、阴沉”等意义，根据这一民族文化背景和传统习俗，英语国家的人用 “black Friday”指大灾大难、凶险不祥的日子。“black”在英语中还象征气愤和恼怒。黑色在汉语和英语中都有阴险、邪恶的含义；还可表示盈利；也有不好的、坏的、邪恶的意味。

　　六、蓝色      蓝色在汉语中的引申意义较少，而在英语中“blue”是一个含义十分丰富的颜色词。英语中的“blue”常用来喻指人的情绪低落忧郁、心情沮丧、忧愁苦闷、不快乐的情绪；“holiday blue”相当于“winter holiday depression”，指冬季假期时，人困在家里，感到无聊寂寞时的心情或情绪；“blue”在英语中有时用来指“黄色的”、“下流的”意思；有时又有社会地位高、有权势或出身贵族名门的意义。
