　　Happy Report for 2011:

　　苏州外国语学校荣获江苏省教科系统“模范职工之家”称号。

　　SFLS got the title of “Model Family of School Staff”issued by Jiangsu Provincial Education and Technology System.

　　我校网站获2011年苏州市中小学优秀校园网站评比初中组一等奖

　　The school website got the No.1 in the Outstanding Campus Website competition among the Junior and Primary Schools in Suzhou.

　　我校小学部六(4)中队获得江苏省英雄中队称号。

　　Young Pioneers of Class 4，Grade 6，won the name of Young Hero Pioneers of Jiangsu Province.

　　我校小学部六(1)中队获得江苏省优秀少先队集体称号。

　　Young Pioneers of Class 1，Grade 6，won the Outstanding Young Pioneers Group of Jiangsu Province.

　　倪泽堃同学在第28届全国青少年信息学奥林匹克竞赛中获全国第二名，江苏省第一名，获得金牌，提前被北京大学预录取。

　　Ni Zekun won the second prize nationally and the first prize in Jiangsu Province in the 28th National Olympiad in Informatics and was admitted in advance by Peking University.

　　在江苏省物理竞赛中，葛宇韬、徐俊文、倪泽堃、李思远4位同学获一等奖，干渺妍、陈一帆等11位同学获省二等奖，创我校历史新高。在江苏省中学生生物学奥赛中，我校葛宇韬、黄则宇同学获一等奖，金紫洋获二等奖

　　Ge Yutao, Xu Junwen, Ni Zekun and Li Siyuan won the first prize in the physics Olympiad in Jiangsu Province. Gan Miaoyan，Chen Yifan， and other 9 students won the second prize，which created a new record for SFLS. In the Middle School biology Olympiad in Jiangsu Province，Ge Yutao and Huang Zeyu won the first prize and Jin Ziyang won the second Prize.

　　在第十届全国创新英语大赛中，季雨欣同学获全国二等奖，曹黎晔、马晨哲、汤禹瑶、周晨越、徐依淳同学分获华东赛区一、二、三等奖。我校成为第十届全国创新英语大赛优秀生源基地

　　Ji Yuxin won the second prize in the 10th National Innovation English Competition. Cao Liye，Ma Chenzhe，Tang Yuyao，Zhouchen Yue and Xu Yichun got the first，second and third prizes respectively in East China Distrtict. SFLS was issued the title of the Outstanding Student Pool of the 10th National Innovation English Competition.

　　在2011年江苏省健美操锦标赛中，我校荣获少儿三级组大众团体规定项目第二名

　　SFLS won the second prize of Grade Three Children’s formal program category in the 2011 Aerobics Sports Championship of Jiangsu Province.

　　在由江苏省科协、省教育厅、省知识产权局、省青少年科技基金会共同举办的江苏省第二十一届青少年科技创新大赛中，我校初二张潘悦喜获二等奖，并同时获得第二十一届苏州市青少年科技创新大赛一等奖。

　　During the 21th Jiangsu Youth Science and Technology Innovation Contest co-organized by Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Association，Jiangsu Education Board，Jiangsu Intellectual Property Bureau and Jiangsu Young Science and Technology Fund，Zhang Panyue in Junior 2 Class won the second provincial prize and at the same time won the first city prize in the 21th Suzhou Youth Science and Technology Innovation Contest.

　　在“21世纪CASIO杯”英语演讲比赛全国总决赛中，我校学生吴王言修获得小学组一等奖第一名的好成绩。

　　In the National final contest of 21Century Casio Cup English Speech Contest，Wuwang Yanxiu won the first prize in the Elementary School Category.

　　在希望之星江苏省总决赛中，苏外小低组的唐艺菲和小高组的韩心怡两人分获季军，并获得晋级全国总决赛的资格。曲上、蒋一诺、黄易、王宥荃、张乐、金怡廷一起共同获得小低和小高组的一等奖

　　During the provincial final competition of Star of Hope English Talent Competition，Tang Yifei lower elementary and Han Xinyi higher elementary won the third prize，respectively，and qualified for the national contest, Qu Shang，Jiang Yinuo，Huang Yi，Wang Youquan，Zhang Le and Jin Yiting all won the first class award in the elementary category.

　　6、十年探索，一面旗帜——常州市政府教育代表团一行来访我校

　　Ten-year Exploration，One Banner：The education delegation of Changzhou Government visited SFLS.

　　1月7日上午，在苏州市副市长王鸿声、苏州市教育局副局长侯大康的陪同下，常州市人民政府副市长居丽琴、常州市人民政府副秘书长杭永宝、科教文卫处副处长王华刚、常州市教育局局长丁伟明以及常州高新区管委会副主任王宇伟等市政府领导一行13人来到我校参观。居副市长此次来访，正是基于苏外国际部近年来越来越家喻户晓的办学成果，想来亲眼看一看苏外这个“联合国”。

　　On the morning of January 7, the education delegation of Changzhou City Government visited SFLS，being accompanied by Wang Hongsheng， vice mayor of Suzhou and Hou Dakang, deputy director of Suzhou Education Bureau. Among the visitors were Ju Liqin，vice mayor of Changzhou，Hang Yongbao，vice general secretary of Changzhou，Wang Huagang，the vice chief of Science，Education and Culture Department， Ding Weiming，director of Changzhou Education Bureau and Wang Yuwei，the vice director of Changzhou New District. Admired by the widely known education achievements，they wanted to look at how come our school，a small “United Nations” is doing so well.
