1. 展示教材图片,讨论图片内容,然后播放对话录音,请学生带问题认真倾听。
Teacher: Look at the picture. Who’s this? Yes, she‘s Sarah. Who’s this? Yes, he‘s Mike. And what’s in Sarah‘s hand? It’s box. It‘s a box of puppet. Say with me, please, puppet. (展示木偶图片,让学生理解其含义)Look, this is a puppet. What do Sarah and Mike want to do? Let’s listen to the dialogue and find.
Teacher: Now, try to answer my question, please. What do Sarah and Mike want to do? Yes, they want to make a puppet. Sarah asks: how are you. What does Mike say? Yes, he says Very well, thanks. That means I‘m very good.
2. 再次播放录音,学生跟读。
Teacher: Listen to the tape again. This time please say with it.
设计意图:通过观察图片,获取与课文相关的信息,讲解新出现的单词。让学生带着问题去听课文内容,培养学生带着问题认真倾听的习惯和能力。检查问题的答案,确保学生听懂了对话的内容。跟读可以保证学生接触原汁原味的语言材料,保证他们语言输入的准确及正确。
Step 4 Practice
1. 练习读对话内容。学生以自己喜欢的方式练习读课文。
Teacher: Read the text freely. You can read it in pairs or in groups.
2. 分角色读课文。先男女生分角色,再请三个学生分角色表演读。
Teacher: Let’s read the dialogue in roles. Boys are Mike. Girls are Sarah. Let‘s read. This time, girls are Mike. Boys are Sarah. Let’s read it again.
