　　I am from America but I live in China for more than five years. I often get the question， “do you know how to use chopsticks？” I really want to answer， “No， I just eat with my fingers.”

　　Before I came to China， I practice using chopsticks. After all， there are 47，000 Chinese restaurants in the USA. That is more than McDonald’s， Burger King and Wendy‘s in all.

　　To Americans， Chinese food is egg rolls， fried rice or dumplings. To the Chinese people， food is an art. But in Beijing today， there are many restaurants giving Chinese food a bad name to the vision. They are not clean and the food has something bad in it. I once had a friend who visited me from my hometown. He didn’t want dumplings at all. He just wanted McDonald‘s. One Chinese said to me， “Your food is so unhealthy！ Because you eat too much fast food.” Fast food is unhealthy but it is not the only food in the US. It is foolish to talk about American food culture just from McDonald’s - the only one you know.
