①学习pencil box

　　教师用幻灯片或实物呈现pencil和box，将其合成为铅笔盒pencil box，教师请学生读短语，并进行纠正。教师提问：What things are there in your pencil box？学生根据自己的实际情况进行回答。

　　Tip：教师可以请学生同桌相互交流。

　　②学习pencil sharpener

　　教师呈现一支没削过的铅笔，说：There is a pencil in my pencil box. I want to sharpen it. I should use the pencil sharpener. 教师用削笔器边削铅笔边说：Sharpen， sharpen， sharpen the pencil. 同时呈现词卡sharpen，示范ar的读音/a：/。然后，让学生先读出sharp，再读sharpen，拿着实物出示词汇卡片sharpener，引导学生最后完整读出sharpener。教师再请学生看图读词，并提问或用提问方式了解学生的情况：What colour is your pencil sharpener？ 学生根据自 己的实际情况回答。

　　③学习a box of crayons和a pair of scissors

　　教师请学生猜铅笔盒里还有什么，并提示学生：They look like pencils， but they are not pencils. They can draw colourful pictures.

　　教师呈现实物示范发音，再出示词卡，示范ay的读音/e？/。教师引导学生按照字母发音规则读出单词，并进行操练。

　　教师拿着一盒彩笔，How many crayons are there in the box？ 教师和学生一起数水彩笔数量，然后教师可以说：I have a box of crayons. There are ... crayons.
